WHAT IS HELL'S GATES

Hell’s Gates is an outdoor reality drama. This means that you are not just watching, but you are actually a part of the whole experience. You are placed in a group that will enter an outdoor trail that carries you through nine different scenes of shocking reality. There will be live actors, video effects, fire, explosions, gunfire, and life and death decisions through a near hour-long experience. The setting for Hell’s Gates is the end time events as found in the book of Revelation, including the Great Tribulation period.

WHO CAN EXPERIENCE HELL'S GATES?

Due to the intense nature of the event, parental discretion is advised.

PARENTAL ADVISORY: THIS EVENT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 10 WILL BE ADMITTED!

Hell’s Gates will feature BRIGHT FLASHING LIGHTS and LOUD EXPLOSIONS and GUNSHOTS as part of the event. These effects are crucial to the story we are trying to tell.

If you are sensitive to flashing lights, have a history of epilepsy, are prone to seizures, have heart conditions, or find loud noises discomforting, please take appropriate precautions and consider whether attending Hell’s Gate is right for you.

IS CHILDCARE PROVIDED?

No childcare is provided, so please make appropriate plans for your children before attending the event.

WHEN CAN I GO THROUGH HELL'S GATES?

Hell’s Gates is open three weekends this fall: October 18th, 19th, and 20th; October 25th, 26th, and 27th; November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

The doors open at 6:30 PM. The first group will line up at 7 PM. Subsequent groups leave every 10 minutes. Due to time change, we will start an hour earlier on November 3rd and the doors will open at 5:30 PM.

When ordering tickets, you will purchase for a specific departure time. Due to COVID-19 precautions, only guests departing within 30 minutes will be allowed inside the building. Those arriving more than 30 minutes early will be allowed in the concession and merchandise purchasing areas only. ARRIVING LATE FOR YOUR DEPARTURE TIME WILL CAUSE YOU EXTENDED DELAYS.

WHERE IS HELL'S GATES LOCATED?

Hell’s Gates is located at 329 Harmony Church Rd, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Hell’s Gates operates in the facilities of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA.

IS HELL'S GATES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Hell’s Gates is generally considered Wheelchair Accessible, however, the drama occurs entirely outside and some areas are mulched. Hell’s Gates cannot provide wheelchairs for our guests and cannot provide staff to transport you through the drama. If you require the use of a wheelchair, you will need to bring one with you and also make sure you have someone to assist you through the drama. Be advised, the terrain does include some steep inclines.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO EXPERIENCE HELL'S GATES?

The individual ticket price is $20 each. Groups of 20 or more receive a group rate of $18 per ticket when purchasing in advance on our website.

HOW DO I RESERVE A TICKET TO EXPERIENCE HELL'S GATES?

Due to the expected response, it is advisable to purchase tickets in advance through this website. You are more likely to get the date and time you desire and you can be sure to experience Hell’s Gates with your friends. You may also purchase tickets in person at the event each night based on availability. Walk-in tickets will place your group in the next available time slot, which could result in a wait.

CAN I CHOOSE THE TIME I WANT TO EXPERIENCE HELL'S GATES?

Yes. When you order tickets in advance (online) you will be able to choose your departure time. Most of the time we can accommodate your choice of departure time unless you wait until the last minute to register. All groups will leave promptly at the scheduled departure time.

IF I PURCHASE ONLINE WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?

At the end of the online order process, you will be emailed a ticket with a QR code.

Please print your Ticket Confirmation email or bring it on your smartphone.

It is quite possible the confirmation email will go to your spam folder. Please check all spam folders prior to submitting a customer support ticket.

You must print out and bring your Ticket Confirmation or bring it on your smartphone in order to gain entrance to the program.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You will want to wear casual clothes with shoes suitable for an outdoor trail.

Remember, Hell’s Gates is an outdoor event and you should dress appropriately to the temperature on the night you plan to go through.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Like a sporting event, Hell’s Gates will proceed rain or shine. We suggest you bring raincoats if rain is in the forecast.

WILL THERE BE CONCESSIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes! While you are waiting for your departure time, you can purchase some great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Hell’s Gates merchandise will also be available.
